That Fabio Vieira red card is quite a big deal now that I think about it.
if the UCL group is wrapped up after game 5, then we can field the youth team vs psv.
Really not a big deal. Luton is very close and psv away should be a meaningless game for us.
Villa away will be difficult regardless
They wonder why the number of injuries are increasing at an exponential rate
All i see is 3 pointers
10 a.m ??
Ideally we’ve qualified for the CL knockout and the PSV game is less important
3 clean sheets in a row, then.
Win at home against Lens, and the PSV game becomes a completely meaningless dead rubber that we can literally play with reserves and academy players.
The Wolves and Luton games won’t require us to so much as leave the Greater London area, so not much travel related tiredness there. If Odegaard is back, we should be fine.
Villa away is the one that worries me. And Vieira likely wouldn’t be playing in that game, anyhow.
But we really, REALLY, need to win the Lens game.
Win em all too we will. You watch.
Hopefully Jesus, White and Ode are back! This should be 4 wins
How’s Emile doing?
Just called him he says he’s doing ok, how’s the kids?
We should be able to beat Luton with some rotation, and if we take care of business against Lens, we can rotate heavily against PSV.
I love this part of the schedule. The players do not.
Villa will be tricky. They’ve been amazing at home
Their last loss was against us back in February, wasn’t it? And we know how tight that one was too.
Villa have a very difficult run of games coming up and little ability to rest and rotate.
Spurs (a), Legia Warsaw (h) - lost to these already and if they drop points the final game is must win, Bournemouth (a), City (h) and Arsenal (h). After us play in Europa again which is an important game for either qualifying for next round or going for top of group.
It all depends on health. If MØ, Saka, and Ben White are fit, then we have a strong chance, even more so if Jesus is fit (although Trossard as a false 9 is a very adequate substitute at the moment).
I believe we are more than capable of getting results regardless, but having key players back will be huge.
It’s good to see Fabio spoken of so highly these days. It’s a nice shift and it just adds to how incredible the recruitment has been.
