hello. let me start off this by saying that the external steam deck experience has been the worst fucking part about this product. practically everything is half baked somehow despite the fact it’s just putting the screen onto another screen. now my TV was not a super ultra HDR monster (i think it does hdr or something on the installed apps tho cause netflix is yellowed. ew.) therefore only uses the limited color range typically seen on FUCKING TVS, why can’t valve just hit the “don’t make colors as vibrant” button?? don’t say it’s hard, because desktop mode does it just fine.

i just feel like this big picture mode needed more time in the oven, especially considering it’s now being forced on the desktop client. what, are people who used those mode shift things just supposed to go fuck themselves now?

i really don’t like how if the game’s set at nighttime i have to suck a dick because my TV doesn’t support some feature only seen on pc monitors and really new sets.
