Not rally home automation but I figured people on here would know what Tasmota is capable of and whether or not it can do what I am looking for.
Basically I’m in a situation where it would be helpful to have something that could plug into a standard UK socket and just record how many times the power to the plug is switched off/on.
I had a google and found some posts suggesting that Tasmota could be setup to increment a counter whenever it powers up.
I’ve had a try but couldn’t get it working, I don’t know if its because of something I am doing wrong of if i misunderstood what I was reading.
So, can Tasmota update a counter, and store it between power cycles? And if so could someone please point me to how to do it?
Thanks.
NVM, I figured out where I was going wrong.
The counter option wasn’t available until I set one of the spare inputs as a counter input.
