Looking to purchase an OLED Steam Deck on release and noticed it will only be available in the US and Canada - I live in the US but will be visiting Japan when orders go live. Will I still be able to order?
Not sure if it’s something based on IP or if it solely depends on shipping address. To that end, will I need to use a VPN or something to get the US Steam page while abroad?

I think you shouldn’t have any problem ordering, as long as you’re signed in to a Steam account that has its store region set to the US. I’m like 99% sure they go off of that rather than IP address.
