I got myself a laptop recently with a 4080 so it kinda made my deck obsolete. But after around a month of use I’ve been wanting the comfort of just playing games in bed like I did for a year lol.

Is there a way to use my deck as a controller besides remote play because I’ve already tried it and the input lag is just horrendous.

If you have access to USB-C to Ethernet adapter like this you can use LAN/ethernet internet speeds to access Steam “remotely” which is way faster than WiFi. (Connect the adapter to your Steam Deck then connect an ethernet cord from your Steam Deck to your internet)

You have to be able to connect your Steam Deck to ethernet internet within viable range of your PC, obviously so you can sit down and play while connected.

This is of course assuming your internet is over LAN/ethernet, not WiFi.
