I have a Lenovo yoga i7 that I bought myself for college at the beginning of the year but I’ve been using it to game as I’m waiting to save funds to get a pc and temps are getting pretty high. I just don’t want to hurt the laptop doing something stupid. Any advice?

Computers operate at higher temperatures than you’d expect, if you aren’t a computer person. If they get to the range where there would be damage, they turn off. It’s as simple as that. So unless you’re abusing it and intentionally trying to get around that, you’re fine. If it’s physically too warm for you, the meat bag, get a laptop cooler or keep it off of your lap to increase the airflow.
