For me its got to be the dude behind Healthygamergg. I just find his advice so ridiculous and just really dislike how he just seems so absolutely certain in what he says.

        Probably…

Maybe it’s because I like problem solving, and his ”tips" (more like buying preferences) don’t actually solve anything. They’re mostly entry level stuff that I already know or something I’m completely not interested in, but he makes it sound like I can’t live without that… whatever it is.

I honestly couldn’t name anyone I don’t like because I simply avoid stuff I don’t like. I almost exclusively only watch channels I’m subscribed too.

Why are you watching people you don’t like? You’re literally giving money and attention to them by watching.

If they’re a “YouTuber” I hate them. But to be more specific, ANY person that post videos of them watching videos is a fucking asshole.

I have a 9 year old. Every YouTube channel is annoying. Rebecca Zamolo is really annoying. The Daily Dose of Internet guy, his voice is pretty annoying. There are tons of people who try to copy Mr. Beast that are just painful to watch.

My kid is ten. I don’t like most of them, but the ones I hate are the one who punctuate their prosaic Minecraft and Roblox adventures with blood-curdling screams.

MatPat and his prolific reading of bad voiceover scripts. Style Theorists? Really? How many millions of $$ are enough?

Whistlin Diesel is the only person I’ve ever blocked on YouTube. He’s one of those people you just don’t like from the first moment but aren’t sure why.

Pretty much any of them that lean heavily into a redneck personality. Especially if it’s a completely fake redneck personality.

Whistling diesel, cleetus McFarland, demolition ranch, zipties&biasplies, and hundreds of others whose name I can’t be bothered to remember.

It’d be far easier to list out the ones I like and why. I hate some because I don’t like the way they speak, what they present, how they present it, and many other things.

I’m not going to write any more out though. It’d be an essay either way.

Simon whistler. He actually runs like 2 dozen YouTube channels and he’s basically just a narrator. I can’t stand him because of how confidently he talks in his videos while being egregiously incorrect. Like one example is why Canadians are so “polite”. His explanation was that Canadians had to cooperate and live with the indigenous peoples to survive but if you know a lick of history that could not be fucking further from the truth and is completely idiotic.

Because it’s not opinions coming from him. It’s coming from the entire field of psychology and therapy. That’s why he’s licensed. This is like arguing with a science teacher because you don’t like what they’re teaching.

I’m a healthygamergg proponent atm, but we all have to admit that there’s some overlap between interpreting results from science into actionable points and needing to use personal morals/philosophy to get there. Also, that there’s plenty of areas for improvement in terms of data supporting conclusions, although it’s also valid to use the best we’ve got so far until more results come along.

With that in mind I do find myself being a little skeptical of some of his jumps to assertions, as in sometimes maybe overly simplistic, yet still valid ways of interpreting, imo.

Do you have an example or two of what might be the more egregious ass-talking, or what chaps you the most? I’m not looking to attack the criticism, just curious at this point. Maybe there’s something I need to pay more attention to.

I don’t remember they guy’s name, but he was a Minecraft Youtuber who liked to shout “Let’s go!” at the end of EVERY SENTENCE HE SPOKE. I gave him ten minutes of my attention and that was being generous.
