Hope you’re well. New to the forum. I have recently, well a few weeks ago, discovered the steam deck and I have become very interested in it. I have seen the new OLED version being released soon. As an older person gaming can sometimes cause friction when I’m using the main TV in the house so having this little device seems like a great way to be able to game and allow others to relax and enjoy the TV. I just have a couple of questions, currently have an Xbox series X.

1. Has anyone gone from console to steam deck and enjoyed it or realised they made a mistake?

2. Can you use emulators and Roms on these to play old games fairly easily?

Just keen to get peoples thoughts and views.
