The SkyConnect dongle was sold as Zigbee but with the promise of also supporting Thread. This is available in HA as experimental. Does anyone have experience with how stable it is? Is it close to ready?

    I have a couple of thread (nanoleaf) devices that I tried to get working and ended up needing to reflash the skyconnect to only ZB mode after eventually aborting in frustration

    This was probably 3 months ago give or take though

    It’s rock solid as a Zigbee device but at least then I couldn’t get it to work with Thread worth a damn.

    That said, Nanoleaf Thread connectivity is appallingly bad, so ymmv with better devices?

      Thanks. I don’t actually have any devices yet, just trying to push what I have in the right direction
