    Well, that may be true, but national economics are not really about anecdotes and individuals. It’s about data and society as a whole.

      It’s about numbers as a whole, and the bottom 50% of earners in the US only have 2.6% of the wealth. They can advertise a ‘good economy’ but most of us can’t afford to participate in it.

        Which is exactly like it’s always been. But a lot of people seem to think that “getting 45 back” will solve all their economic woes. It won’t. It will just exacerbate inequality.

        People need to look for actual change. Look to Europe for inspiration, for example. There’s a reason behind the saying that to live the American dream, move to Scandinavia.
