Why are we still giving talkSPORT, the Guardian, Gary Neville and other trash coverage companies/people attention and energy?
The Guardian is one of the few British papers that isn’t utter dogshit but the way they’ve covered Arsenal this past week has been really disappointing to see.
No Arsenal fan is saying that we haven’t had poor refereeing decisions go in our favour because we have. Every team gets them from time to time. It’s so fucking weird to me that this is being framed as “Arsenal fans upset about things not going their way all the time” instead of “Arsenal fans upset that the best league in the world™ has some of the worst referees”.
Agree, has been odd. Just trying to optimize their SEO perhaps? Or maybe since Amy L is writing less or nothing for them, the perspective has changed?
This guy writes like a word I shouldn’t say
Forget Toney, is not good enought to win a Champions League, whenever we do, we need to sign a TOP striker
These people are paid for this and none of it is insightful. It just sounds good because he learnt how to use that kind of language at private school
“Let’s move on from talking about officiating decisions… KAI HAVERTZ SHOULD HAVE BEEN REDCARDED WHVSISHRISUSBEIZ”
GCSE journalism
Classic guardian
Shall he just always talk about the ref decisions then ?
He’s moving on to analyse the team (whether you agree or not)
More and more i realise now literally nothing will stop fans on here crying and moaning
Well if he’s gonnq analyse the team… why get petty and bring up the “gnashing of teeth” and “Kai should have seen red” without context. Pretty petty analysing IMO.
It’s presumably a list of 10 things to look out for this weekend, enough has already been said about the decisions so maybe he wants to focus on something else.
Nothing could be written without many of our fans here crying about it, unless you write an article about how amazing we are and how nasty everyone is about us.
enough has already been said about the decisions so maybe he wants to focus on something else.
he literally brought up the decisions when he didn’t need to. His piece is about Arsenal’s CF options, decisions in the Newcastle game are pretty much irrelevant to that discussion
Some journo’s and publications are proper wierd about some clubs. I’ve noticed the guardian has a proper hate boner for us right now, even the podcast they do is the same.
Don’t ever read the Mail if you think the above story is Anti-Arsenal, that would be a light palette cleanser for the Mail.
Actually just don’t read the Mail full stop!
