Sums it up really. Worlds of difference compared to last season but we’re still somehow getting points on the board.

We need to go on a winning run til Christmas at least (anfield included hopefully) and get these players confidence boosted

Unfortunately in the worst sense that it only bad to those who are informed so the uniformed make false informed decisions. Pretty much a news chart

Eh, it’s perspectives. You can always count on Liverpool for absolute entertainment with goals from both side.

Guys, this isn’t Arsenals xg in our games. Its how much xg have been creating by both teams in our games. It also indicates we allow little xg from our opponents as well. Notice how we are just slightly below City.

A better visualization would be to split the bars into for/against

No, we control games. xG is basically just a “chaos” meter, hence why pool are up at the top

Considering how many injuries we have had this season, we have been extremely solid all over the pitch. Just add a midfielder to partner with Rice and hope our attackers stay fit during the run-in, I feel we will be comfortably challenging for the PL.

This isn’t clear. I’d like to see xG for and against. I know we’ve not been creating as much but we’ve not given many easy chances away either.

That adds up. Defensively we’ve been very good but I feel like Arteta is demaning an extremely safe game in possession this season, which means a boring attack. Hopefully this is a temporary measure because until now we’ve been on a steady trajectory for the last 3 years when it comes to play attacking, exciting football - but Arteta knows how to organize a defence when he needs to and for some reason it’s coming down on our offense much more than last year.

This confirms my belief that forest are a really good team. Every time I watch them, I’m impressed. They defend well and attack in just the right moments. We did well to walk away from that game with 3 points

They did only walk away with a 1-0 last time. And we had a whole bunch of injuries, no depth, and everyone was gassed at the second to last game of the season. I think it would be a different story this time if we can get a mostly fit squad.

Obviously I don’t enjoy being the solid but don’t create much side but with the amount of injuries we’ve had compared to the rest in the top 4, I’ll take being solid and getting the points

If we actually had our team healthy we’d cool everyone in pretty sure of that. The starting XI would be the same as last year except Rice for Xhaka and Raya for Ramsdale

    We just never seen it

So who is your starting XI if everyone is fit?

I prefer Rice at 8, his best game was vs Newcastle imo at 8, Partey is a better DLP better in tight areas better at passing through the lines

Rice has a much better engine so better at counter pressing and recoveries high up the pitch, better at longer carries and switches

But curious to know who you’d start at 8 over Partey at 6?

Im surprised Chelsea is so high, they’ve typically had a lot of sterile possession and often win the xG each game. I wonder if the spurs game maybe shifts them quite considerably

After 8 rounds Chelsea were the only team in the Prem to win every game on xG this season, but only actually won 3 games

Then they got done by Brentford
