Nah man that’s just not true, Mane was still in his prime and he was class the previous season. Sometimes players just flop but it doesn’t mean it was “wtf was this transfer” moment even in retrospective. Now you could argue that he wasn’t the player they needed, but I mean cmon, the man finished 2nd in 2022 BallonDor voting, there were definitely many takers and almost any team would’ve been glad getting Mane.
He was nowhere near his prime at all in his last season. He adjusted his game completely and played very well but his brilliant best was in 2019. He lost most of his acceleration and agility by the end of 2021.
