Moneywise maybe, but Cucurella was the most creative left back the season before Chelsea bought him and the team needed a cover/upgrade on the position with Alonso leaving and Chilwell constant injuries.
I’d rather say Lavia, with the team already spending 200m on Enzo and Caicedo, ~25m on Lesley, ~15m on Andrey and also having bought Casadei earlier. I know, different type of players, but at one point you need to start developing the guys you already have.
