The guy we signed to be our best new attacker, Nkunku, got injured before the season began so people act like we didn’t bother to sign any striker/striker-esque player, when we actually did and for a decent price too.
Also, Caicedo is actually really good. I’m constantly surprised by how good he is, and considering his age and the length of his contract, the price we paid will soon be irrelevant.
Caicedo to Chelsea. Not because he’s a bad player, but because it makes no sense to spend so much on a CDM when your attack is so shit.
Nah a defensive midfielder was needed. Can’t be playing a double pivot of Fernandez and Gallagher for a season.
Not even really a CDM, a proper CDM with caicedo and Fernandez in front is pretty good and covers all parts do the game
Nah, Caicedo made total sense. He was very expensive but there was a gaping hole in his position at Chelsea.
Simply because there are gaping holes in other places too doesn’t make it weird to fill those ones.

He is good player but he isn’t that much million dollars good player
Just another example of the right player in the right system when he was at Brighton
