It probably gets 95% of the calls right. FIFA says 99.3% but I don’t think so. Still, if it didn’t exist everyone would be crying to implement technology like they did before. Think of all the goals/no goals that have been rightfully overturned. Even if there are some horrible calls sometimes, the good calls outweigh the bad ones.
I think the issue is that it has shone a spotlight on some of the more recent rule changes and just how fucking stupid and put of touch they are. And that leaves the refs and VARrefs in a terrible position. Granted they’re still a bunch of arrogant pricks not making it easy on themselves but the problem is not all of their own making.
