Remember Jesus saying our training is a lot more intense than at City. Without any of us having any inside knowledge of training sessions, could this play a role in why it seems we suffer a lot of injuries?

he could just be saying in jest to “talk up” his new club. p much every Brazilian footballer grows up doing that. there is no way to actually know the details but I doubt a Guardiola team of all teams are not ultra high intensity

There was some reports doing the rounds during the Wenger days that the reason we had so many injuries was because we trained at such low intensity, then went into high intensity games that it was just wreaking havoc in terms of muscle injuries.

The truth is if it’s one thing, and we were getting injuries, we’d all maybe think we have to do the opposite. And as you say, no one really knows.

I do think that there is yet more advancement to be made in training, in terms of more bespoke training regimes for every player. Not every player can handle the same load, do suicide sprints endlessly.

Then again, that also might be utter bullshit. I have been unhelpful.
