We know about things like FFP and home grown talent. But the teams at the bottom of the table generally come up one season from the Championship and then go down the next season.

How would you change this? Or should it be changed?

I still think City are going to be hard to beat this season which would make it about a million league titles in a row. It’s fair but is it ‘fair’ to all the other teams in the bottom half?

    Not so much even to an extent, but more fair and easier to watch.

    1. Send the ref to the screen if there is even a chance that he might overturn it. Not this clear and obvious error where we know it will be overturned. Have some fucking balls VAR. if it’s an orange card tackle, just let them look again.
    2. ONLY THE CAPTAIN CAN SPEAK TO THE REFEREE! Fuck me, everyone comes whinging to the ref every time a small foul is committed. Ever see him change his mind? Fuck no. If you speak to him without the armband, caution, instantly.
    3. Give people bans retroactively for diving. Get that shit out of the game.

      You can literally strap a phone to your arm for when you go jogging, give the referee’s a device they can strap to either their arm or wrist, which allows them to review plays quickly and on the spot.

      If they think there’s an issue or need a closer look, they then can go to the monitors, or be referred to the monitor by the VAR

      Also the on field referee should also be in control of the video play back instead of the VAR choosing which angles, frames and whatever to show the referee.
