Okay but this was kinda expected, everyone knew that the ring has such effect on the bearer even if hobbits are more resilient. I doubt Frodo was hiding the fact how he lost the finger.

… which wouldn’t have been too unlikely considering that Bilbo, Aragorn and Sam all really wanted to kill Gollum.

I almost forgot that Gollum had to bite the damn thing off his hand at the end. It’s been a while since I’ve watched these.
