Israel has rebuffed US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s call for a “humanitarian pause” in Gaza.
Mr Blinken said he had discussed the idea with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other officials during their talks in Tel Aviv.
But in a TV statement minutes later, Mr Netanyahu said Israel rejected “a temporary ceasefire that does not include the release of our hostages”.
He said that Israel was “continuing with all our force” against Hamas.

Palestinians really fucked themselves when they voted for Hamas in 2006
Yeah, 40% of them…. 20 fucking years ago. They all deserve to die I guess for that mistake, especially all the people who weren’t even alive or old enough to vote. They definitely should’ve thought twice about voting for Hamas.
I know that if America ever chose a president that lost the popular vote and then refused to leave office and then sparked a conflict with a more powerful country, all Americans would definitely deserve to die in that conflict and all future conflicts with that country for the rest of time, even if they didn’t vote for that president. Even if their parents and grandparents didn’t vote for that president.
Never said they deserve it now. Just contemplating.
I can’t even. Justifying ethnic cleansing. Sad.
Not my point, Israel should stop not only to save palestinian innocent lifes but also because this “strategy” is counter productive and just doesn’t work. They are just both bad though. Those Palestinians kids would grow up hating Israel just like Israel hates them. I had friends traveling to Israel early this year and they were kinda shocked when they learned from more than one Israeli than Palestinians are considered a problem and that they have “almost finished” with them. I know exactly how shitty they are
The majority of the current Palestinian population was not even born in 2006, so I don’t see how a vote then is really relevant. Hamas, like many others around the world, has edged to authoritarian rule, and given the internal divisions preceding this conflict, Israeli citizens are equally concerned the current government there is also trundling down the same path.
Yeah I completely agree. That was kinda my point, so much similarities
By that idea every german should have died because they voted for Hitler. And every Israeli should die because they voted Bibi. You don’t spend too much time thinking, do you?
Oh obviously not and I don’t blame anyone. Was just an observation. Nationalists parties ALWAYS suck
