The Albanese government has indicated it will revoke a $308,000 grant to Islamic media organisation OnePath Network following criticism over extreme content about Jews, Israel and antisemitic attacks in Sydney.
Multicultural Affairs Minister Anne Aly told parliament on Wednesday that the Department of Home Affairs had issued OnePath with a notice of intention to terminate its funding.
OnePath Network is a western Sydney-based Islamic media organisation producing videos, podcasts and religious commentary for Muslim audiences.
The Daily Telegraph reported that its videos dismissed antisemitic attacks in Sydney as fabricated, compared Israel’s actions in Gaza with Nazi gas chambers and featured a speaker describing Zionists as “mortal enemies of Islam”.
