I’m not sure it’s very democratic if one person is able to give a hugely obscene amount of money to a political party, while ordinary people don’t have the ability to do that.
In a democracy, maybe it’s best if each person has a roughly equal amount of political influence. Large donations distort that.

This is just fucking wrong.
I wish there was a system whereby political parties were all given the same amount of funding, the same amount of air time in the media and the same restrictions on donations. This is just a money laundering scheme being conducted in plain sight - and the guy donating the money doing so to no doubt avoid legal consequences for something in the future.

It’s because unlike those £35 a month airtight mobile phone contracts you or I are forced to get where we sign over money, data and all personal information they so wish to ask for, most of this government stuff is done on an honours system which is getting absolutely abused so we can get royally fucked.
I really hope criminal charges are brought against Farage. He’s absolutely guilty of fraud as well as treason.
