My pet theory on ozempic breath is that burning fat changes body chemistry. Ketosis breath is what makes me think of it.
We mostly exhale lost body fat.
Ozempic does not burn more fat, it suppresses appetite by increasing insulin, lowering glucagon, and slowing digestion.
But any hormone has off target effects.
That’s all true and worth noting (because targeting fat alone remains elusive). What I meant is that caloric balance which starts catabolism of fat and muscle, which is a long way of saying losing weight-and fat.
GLP-1 does not cause cachexia. It just lowers caloric intake which is the cause of most obesity.
But lowering caloric intake means caloric deficit to lose weight, right ? So fat starts to burn more
