Which version of HDMI, though? (You can find out if you search for the model number.) That can limit what you can plug into it — mostly newer stuff — if it’s an old enough version.
Looked it up and that a damn good TV. Never get rid of it.
Couldn’t find the HDMI version number but it’s probably 1.2, which is new enough that it shouldn’t cause any issues, even with something modern like a PS5.

The manual says type a. I am curious I haven’t heard of this issue before . It’s a Toshiba 34HFX84
