For the maxi challenge, our top six get to give a makeover to members of the Golden Gays (a support group for aging LGBTQ+ in the Philippines). Gloria Diaz, first Filipina winner of Miss Universe (1969), is guest judge.

This episode is now one of my favorites, across franchises. I couldn’t stop crying the minute the Golden Gays were introduced. The queens did so well and the whole episode was full of moving, tender moments.
I saw the lip sync “twist” a mile away. Sorry, gals, but Mexico did it first. That said, I was so grateful to have gotten to see the lip sync winner perform.
