I was going to mention the furry from the animated series, there’s an episode she literally goes “uwu”
Well, it’s actually already canon. And the CMO of the Cerritos is Caitian.
TIL - thanks!
In terms of my post, I was interested in the Khajit specifically, as I think the extensive specifics written of both their culture and their variant morphology would make for some incredible storytelling and plotlines. It’s one thing to meet the parents when your girlfriend is Caitian… quite another if she’s Khajit.
Mom could be looking like this:

…while Dad is looking at you like:

But the Ferengi already exist and everyone’s already banned them from peddling their wares in Imperial cities and strongholds.
Aren’t there cat people in TAS?
Haven’t seen those, so wouldn’t know… I’m more interested to see what the Federation would do with the Khajit as they exit in Elder Scrolls - all of the different morphologies - from the giant Senche-Tigers to the tiny Alfiq.
I’d also really dig seeing a throwdown between a Klingon and a Pahmar-raht:

Oh shit, Tony the Tiger is going to fucking break me in half!
Oh well check the Animated Series out they have at least 1 crew member who is adjacent to this. No idea about any lore on it though. On a related note though Bethesda needs to let us go to to Elsweyr already.
Animated series, movies, tng, ds9, lower Decks… Most of the shows, really.
They’re usually background characters in live action since it’s not really easy to make them look realistic and believable up close.
Oh for real? I know what I’m looking for on my next trek rewatch
The most surprising one was in the TOS movies there’s one at a bar. I only noticed it last year.
I’ve recently started digitizing my dvd collection and am planning on rewatching but trying to focus on the background and side characters. They sometimes are doing hilariously obvious pantomiming in some older episodes.

Oh no! Now I have to watch all of Star Trek all over again to see every instance of this! Lol
