Thank you for starting to post these. I miss my morning ritual.
The Russian population is 143 million. This means that effectively 1% of the population is a casualty. Or 2% of the male population. And the rate isn’t slowing down. How much longer can Russia sustain this?
Since the fighting is (currently) done by men somewhere in the 18-55 range, it’s actually much more than 2% of the relevant population.
Harsh truth: Male lifes are not worth much in any dictatorship. The ruzzian Führer also uses this ugly war to get rid of unwanted minorities. And last but not least the wealthy are safe from serving at the frontline.
Why change course? The relevant people are fine, that’s all that counts.
