Thank you to everyone who donated in the last couple of weeks. I ended up getting more than I asked for, but a bunch of unexpected steps made the document submission and notarization cost way more than I was expecting. With food money I was given through the government, I had just enough to pay for everything. So thank you, again, for you generosity.

Now I have to do another round of submissions, including sending multiple packages (binders of printed documents), as well as sending mail to another country. And this is me doing everything myself without paying for a solicitor because I’m still getting a lot of dead air from everyone I talk to. We haven’t even started the pretrial yet, and that’s going to be even worse. But between pushing an appeal through the Supreme Court, appealing directly to government officials, and publicizing everything to put as many eyes on what is happening, I don’t know what else I’m suppose to do.

I have sent several emails to the mother simply asking if Sora is okay, offering to send Sora his toys and books and clothes, trying to get any kind of information about him and any kind of a response out of her and I have gotten absolutely nothing in return, Sora has ceased to exist when he was forced back to Japan against his will two months ago. Which is what I told the Irish Judges over and over again would happen, as they rolled their eyes at me and called two major acts of violent assault and child abuse and years of ongoing verbal abuse and harassment a marital spat.

Sometimes I don’t know how I have the will to even crawl out of bed. But as long as he’s out there, he needs me. So I will drag my near-lifeless husk from one end of Ireland to the other if that’s what it takes to rescue him and bring him back home. This will either be the best thing I ever do, or it’ll be the last thing I ever do.

Because I got more than I expected last time, and ended up just barely having enough to cover the cost of everything, I’m guessing I’ll need €350 to €450 in the next few days. If anyone can help out with that, please and thank you. And if you can’t, please show this post to anyone who might be able to help.

Moderator Pinning Rules:

Moderators are strictly prohibited from promoting/endorsing/pinning individual mutual aid requests (especially those of their own) as this creates unfair post visibility and could therefore benefit more from that than the standard user. Moderators caught engaging in this behavior will be swiftly removed from the moderator board with extreme prejudice.
Moderators are allowed to pin and crosspost donation requests for large scope issues such as natural disaster relief funds and bail funds ((Example)[https://hexbear.net/post/16574) along with other crowd or moderator-compiled informational resources pertaining to donating or volunteering (Example), so long as the utmost due diligence is done prior to endorsement, especially in the case of directing people to donate to non-profit organizations.
Financial documents of non-profit organizations available to the public must be heavily scrutinized before moderator endorsement, and links to those must also be included in the endorsement post to help the community make their own decision if they should donate.
