so this was actually my second time teaching cyberpunk, but my first seeing the same material in a way that was haunting and prophetic

sigh and what do we say when the works are “prophetic?”

I think we all need a little less dystopia and decay and a lot more paragons and encouragement these days. The world is grim enough as is without inundating ourselves in even more misery and despair.
