This isn’t my official prediction but I do think England do have a very solid chance at winning the 2026 world cup. As of right now they have a very good squad filled with many talents who are either entering or in their primes already. Many of these players are already world class and established themselves in their respective leagues. They also do have a very expansive bench filled with many good players who can take up roles when needed. Plus, Gareth Southgate is an if honestly, but if he gets it together than he pull it off. Below is what I think the squad and bench could look like at the 2026 World Cup. This is bound to change, and I’m simply going off who will be at their best form by 2026. What do you guys think?
Starting 11:
GK: Aaron Ramsdale LB: Luke Shaw CB: Fikayo Tomori CB: John Stones RB: Trent Alexander Arnold CM: Jude Bellingham CDM: Declan Rice CM: James Maddison LW: Phil Foden ST: Harry Kane RW: Bukayo Saka
Bench: Jordan Pickford, Ben Chilwell, Marc Guehi, Ben White, Kyle Walker, Mason Mount, James Ward-Prowse, Harvey Barnes, Marcus Rashford, Jarrod Bowen, Raheem Sterling, and more.
