Tax evasion.
Super cruise.
Collecting expensive/rare paintings. (Not to be confused with having some art in your place of residence, which could have been relatively cheap to buy and may just mean you support local artists.)
Piloting planes as a hobby.
Golfing, but not mini golfing, or yachting
Mini golfing is very accessible and universal, yachting can be interpreted very generally and can be attained by the working class by renting & sharing a boat for a period
Golfing at its best requires an expensive entrance fee, it is heavily connected to the clubs that own the land, associated entirely with the rich and wanna-be rich (unlike yachting where you either refer to owning a yacht itself or defining it more generally to refer to staying at sea in a boat, which is a more liberal and I think useful category) and often done in spite of the sport and more for the connections it provides
Car collecting

- Bourgeois: wage theft + Child abuse
Exotic game hunting (poaching)
Polo?
Boating, anything involving horses, falconry, aviation, and travel. Not sure which order you could place them in because there’s always someone at each end of the extreme. I.e. someone who does veterinary care for falcons vs. that guy who had a 747 custom modified to take like 50 falcons with him to hunt wherever.
Bush craft. That can get really pricy.
Golf has to be up there
Nah, golf doesn’t half to be

Ecological disaster, using land as a status symbol showing off how much you can afford to have and not use, the obvious class dynamics between players and those who work the joint, golf has to be in the running for most bourgeois hobby
Mini golf is fine and has fewer of these issues
Hunting the most dangerous game
A decent book, I do wonder how close to non-fiction it is.

Not sure I’d call that a hobby, but I can see where you’re coming from.
