    Homelab is running on a FX-8350 with 32GB DDR3. This stupid CPU is eating electricity like crazy, AMDs biggest flop IMHO this architecture. But replacement costs now way to much. Fine, mb and cpu can be bought cheaper used. But RAM is no joke. Where is CCP with propaganda bot ram, I don’t care about “what cost”. RISC-V would be great as well.

    That is simply astounding. Unbelievable they are already producing complex 5nm chips. And good to see that RISC-V is the future of chip architecture.

        This has an enormous potential. I imagine a Global South semiconductor supply chain, led by China, but completely free from US control. Free from instruction set patents, free from fab production restrictions, and open source from fab to app. This gives me hope.
