I am getting some good vibes from the sopuli.xyz instance over the last months. Also some good quality memes. Why is that so?
As an instance admin, I have to admit that I have no idea. I made clear rules to follow, appointed enough moderators for communities and made sure that any content against the rules gets removed. And of course made sure that this instance’s performance is at a good level. I do my job. One reason could be that as a smaller instance, Sopuli stays out of any big drama that has been going on with the biggest Lemmy instances.
But otherwise, I’d like to hear how the users answer this question.
