Last day out at this site that would seemingly never end. So badly quoted… not my problem though. I’m glad today is it. Can’t say I’m going to miss wrangling the drivers of the M1.

Had a long text chat last night with a friend at my old workplace who was stressed out of their mind after being dressed down by a client due to providing faulty data… it was a continuation of a big job I’d done a few years ago and while I think I was able to help my friend work out what happened on the technical side of things, and how to respond, I saw an excerpt of the email he received and I’m still residually stressed out this morning even though it’s not my problem at all now haha. I most definitely don’t miss those days (even though the original job was one of the more rewarding ones that we did really well out of). Had a moment of reflection on the really really shitty year I had with flaming out badly and getting bullied by my boss and I’m so happy I was able to come out of it on the other side and look back without too much pain.
