What sense does it make for VAR to make Paul Tierney go to the monitor over a play he had a clear view of? It wasn’t a hidden handball or a foul behind the play. He saw it, didn’t make the call, but is forced to watch it in slow motion until he awards a pk. Done with the premier league until they get rid of VAR for everything but offsides.
Someone needs to create an app/database to gather ALL important match decisions and extract the data over a longer period of time so that the inconsistencies can no longer be denied.
I would like a full and complete revamp of the premier league.
Also; Antony should be red carded there for the foul + 2 reds for hitting motion. Why the fuck he got only a yellow?
There was a Liverpool fan who did this because he suspected the bias and went through all opta data. Wish I had a link but it does exist and it does show biases in various ways
