What sense does it make for VAR to make Paul Tierney go to the monitor over a play he had a clear view of? It wasn’t a hidden handball or a foul behind the play. He saw it, didn’t make the call, but is forced to watch it in slow motion until he awards a pk. Done with the premier league until they get rid of VAR for everything but offsides.

    Because VAR has worked perfectly for offsides calls this season. Just ask Liverpool.

    I have seen more competent officiating in professional wrestling than on the football pitch or VAR this season.
