I’ve been wondering if using jamming software paired with a directional antenna on it like a Yagi would be effective against these
GNURadio is software defined radio. This is unrelated to jamming question.
I’m really concerned about people trying to harm this cute little drones. What kind of attacks should I watch out for? I would love to know the specific brands and types of tools these heinous drone murderers would use so I can stop them.
Well, you could start by applying reflective spray to your license plate holder, but accidentally get some all over the plate. It’s a challenge not to, FYI. The same can be said of your VIN tag under your windshield. It’s really unfortunate how imprecise those reflective sprays are. 🤷🏼♂️
They have to land eventually
Betcha it can’t outrun .410 or .22lr.
.22lr suppresses real well.
Or paintballs, at a closer range.
Just think of em as ManHacks.
You ain’t hitting that thing at 2000’.
Spray and pray.
Hitting a drone with a subsonic suppressed .22 would be challenging, to say the least.
Especially at speed. 🤪
I’m presuming they hover in place as part of their flight pattern, but yeah, it would take a pretty good shot, a pretty good marksman, otherwise.
