2024 in AI terms may as well be last century
Right… So if the AI is getting better… the even less likely people are going to properly learn things so the Junior skill gap would be even harder to close… Surely?
That’s a goal from AI companies and why they’ve been willing to bleed money. Eliminate having enough experienced coders and other fields experts, then launch prices sky high after those entities almost don’t have a choice.
Developers, design studios, hospitals, law firms, all sorts of office jobs, and I’m sure a lot of others will be reliant on ai. Some of them will probably be able to use open source AI stuff. Hospitals and law offices won’t.
If it just works, there’s no problem.
If it doesn’t work, that’s friction.
