Specifically, he wants the death penalty for doing these things, but he wants to ‘ease into’ murdering gays by imprisoning them first.
Specifically, he will also be doing these things protected by his position of power. Because always.
This guy projects harder than an IMAX theatre.
Spoken like someone who wants hand jobs, oral sex, and anal
taking bets on his favorite sex acts to perform with gay men, how long until hes outed as a closeted gay man, and how long until hes outed as a child rapist. i would feel bad for making these assumptions but it just keeps fucking happening.
A guy who looks like that and says those things? Couldn’t be.
I get the hate and wanting to insult the guy but why does he have to be secretly gay? Is being gay an insult?
he doesnt have to be secretly gay. if he wanted to he could be openly gay. im gay and i love it its great i wish more people were gay.
the joke is that the people who are the biggest most vocal homophobes seem to really often turn out to be closeted gay people hurting other gay people out of shame, guilt, and self hatred. its tragic as fuck, but also those people still spread hate and foment violence against queer people and that makes them horrible pieces of shit. it would be funnier if there werent a real risk they get their way and start locking up queer people for touching each other consensually.
Painting every homophobe as gay only serves to frame the issue as gay folk oppressing themselves. Straight homophobes have always been the core problem and it’s not reasonable to push that responsibility back onto queer folks by baselessly speculating about people’s sexualities.
I also suggest you take a close look at how much your conclusions about the frequency of this happening are based in confirmation bias. The human brain loves patterns and will see them even when they don’t exist.
I get wanting to call the guy a hypocrite if he were actually gay, but he’s not? This is the same really lame take I see about transphobes and how they’re all secretly trans. It just insinuates being trans is an insult and is a cheap “gotcha” for hypocrisy.
I am trying to understand how yours is any different. You put it right there with child rapist. I guess color me confused.
its a trend… it keeps happening. if there were transphobes secretly transitioning and being exposed as living as their true gender while working to harm trans people that would be the same, but that isnt happening. these extremely vocal homophobes who call for gay people to be locked up or killed keep getting exposed as closeted gay people when theyre caught fucking gay people, and/or they are exposed as pedophiles when theyre caught raping children.
it seems like youre operating under the premise that these people arent frequently outed. im not sure why you think that.
Are we sure he didn’t type these into the wrong window by mistake?
Imagine going to prison for giving your fellow man a helping hand smh my head
@Bougie_Birdie @return2ozma
Out-of-topic but serious, to bounce on your pun :
We have that in France in another context, not related to sexual activities. Giving a helping hand to someone whose presénce in France isn’t considered legal. (max several years in prison and several k€ in fine, plus other harsh complementary sentences)
https://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/codes/id/LEGISCTA000042774527/So, giving a place to sleep to a refugee from a country with harsh repression toward LGBT+ can in practice be harshly punished. (Not in theory, since there’s an exception for pure humanitarian support, but he defendant will have to prove it and convince the court.)
Christ, that’s essentially an “arrest Miep Gies” law. Even in the US there’s no equivalent, at least not one that could apply for just giving someone a bed for the night. How the fuck does a country setup the law like that after spending the better part of WWII under Nazi occupation?
@PanGodofPanic Same as in the US and other european countries : by saying the real fascists are the antifascists. But France is one on the worst in the EU, if not the worst, in terms of repression of anything. When repression doesn’t work, our politicians decalre that there were just not enough of it to work, and increase it.
The deshumanisation and othering of communities those in power don’t like, by politicians and media alike, is well advanced and increasing. Our poorer citizens and inhabitants get poorer by the day and die of homelessness (or at home from extreme thermal conditions). Our richer scums get richer by the day.
Yeah capital·fasch·ism.
@PanGodofPanic
Also (un)fun fact about racist autoritarism: Our president has finally officially recognised Palestine as a country, and its people as oppressed, yet the state he leads still smear and punish support toward palestine or actions against the state and colonialism of Irael. Our country even provides weapon parts to Israël.@PanGodofPanic And about “Even in the US there’s no equivalent, at least not one that could apply for just giving someone a bed for the night.”
I’ll take your word from it, but that’s about laws. (And I understand law can be more complicated in a federation.)
However the US have ICE that just don’t care about law. (Not better: FR has the BRAV-M and several police orgs to do the dirty work.)
At least one US judge was punished to have helped an “illegal immigrant” escape ICE because the targeted person wasn’t convicted of illegal stay yet. (The judge knew: they were the one judging the case about the legality of ICE’s target’s presence in the US.)
@PanGodofPanic And if we complain, nationalist tell us: “La France, tu l’aimes ou tu la quittes”.
It means “If you don’t like France, leave France”. They don’t apply that to themselves except to escape taxes (Ex: Pierre-Édouard Stérin), or judicial consequences of their harmful actions (Ex: Thaïs d’Escufon).
@Bougie_Birdie @return2ozma On topic, fortunately there’s no way a law to punish sexual practices with neither victims nor witnesses can be applied.
i’ve recently come across an interesting term to describe that kind of behavior: the right-wing mindset is that sex is only for productive sex, where productivity refers to the attempt to make children. i.e., “hand jobs, oral sex and anal” are not productive because the chance of getting pregnant that way are basically zero. same for non-heterosexual sex etc. that’s what this is actually all about.
My fear is that the anti trans stuff is eboldening twats like this. Cos if they totally get the T guarantee you they’ll come for the rest of us
@return2ozma In France, we also have mainstream political figures that want to overturn the rights that LGBT people managed to acquire. (For example , non cishet marriage.)
Some of them even pretend to defend LGBT+ people. (Well, specifically LG people in these cases.)We also have (the same) political figures asking for the death sentence to sexual predators specialised in children. (Except if they are from the same clique as these politicians, of course. Bonus if the predactor is not a cishet white christian)
And we still have the lgbtphobe trope about us being sexual predators by nature, espcially toward children.
Adding all that up…
Well, maybe it won’t matter this time since they’re trying to regulate men’s bodies now.
