I literally left lemmy.world as a user when the e-mail I used to register there was leaked and a Tel-Aviv based organisation started sending me e-mails to it, in my native tongue (which is not English), to attend their “Learn about Israel” online course.
I have little doubt in my mind that at least one of their admins is either a sockpuppet of a state actor or a rabid Zionist.
You can be pretty sure that if the former, their “Lemmy.world admin” time is being paid for.
Don’t harass mods, they volunteer a lot of time to the community, and they have their right to an opinion if they aren’t silencing others’.
