I’m a beginner to overclocking and I’m about to go for a new PC build. I’m curious about the value of RAM dies and the advertised speeds and timings. I’ve found some DDR5 6000MHz RAM with CL26 timings. I know that the only dies capable of these values are Hynix A-die and H-die, so clearly it’s going to contain one of those. However, all the RAM sticks I’ve found with these timings contain RGB, which will just cause interference and otherwise be harmful. My question is: If I just get any stick that has, say, Hynix A-die, do the advertised timings matter, or can I simply overclock it myself to achieve that CL26 anyway?
