Ok, so I’m a 28M and I was in a FWB relationship with a 30F for some months. I told her on march 2nd I was getting more attracted to her and asked her if she wanted felt the same way towards me. She Said no and She had to think because She thought was attracted to One of her co-workers. Obviously I told her I could ONLY be her friend and was crushed. This last week was shitty but this saturday I spent the afternoon with her sister. Well, yesterday I spent the afternoon with both of them and One of their housemates, and didn’t told her goodbye (I told her sister though). I felt kinda bad and told her I was sorry, but I felt like She should know I was crushed because of her. I event thought the five of us should have dinner to try and bury the hatchet because her BF didn’t do nothing wrong to me. TL; Dr: lo and behold this saturday She went out with him (She already told me the past weekend She was going out with him this saturday) and She slept with him while I was with her sister picking up the pieces, all the while She was “waiting for the right time” to tell me She was no longer in an “Open” relationship.

So long story short, FWB relationships are myths and, while trying to be the “mature person” (her sister also agreed with me), I don’t want to be around this person for a while. Now, WIBTA if I ask her sister and their housemate to my birthday party on the 22nd?
