So the time came for me to upgrade my hard drive capacity again. Instead of shucking, I opted to buy one of those recertified enterprise drives with a warranty. A 22TB one. After I ordered it, I had a feeling and looked up the current Sabrent 4 bay enclosure I use and sure enough, it said it supports 20tb max for one drive. I started to worry but I searched online and others were saying if a hard drive enclosure supports 14-20 tb, it’ll likely support 22tb if it’s the same type. It’s only an extra 2 tb, it shouldn’t be a problem right? Turns out,it’s a problem. the enclosure isn’t recognizing the hard drive, the hard drive makes noises when inserted and it’s on but it doesn’t register to my computer. So my question is, can someone recommend a solid usb enclosure for me that supports 22tb?

P.S. the current Sabrent docking station I had was this.

I buy used G-Tech drive enclosures off of eBay. very durable and reliable power supplies. something like this. not sure if you would run into drive height issues with 22 tb though.
