I just got an email for a whole $6 coupon, but they also raised the price of the drive I bought by $5 so it’s really just $1 cheaper than what I paid previously. WOuld it benefit at all to wait and see what they come out with at end of November or just go with what I can now?

Think not. Unless that corresponds with when they get a huge shipment of product. My theory as a customer of theirs is pricing goes down when they have a large supply, or they get a better price for buying a larger amount of drives.
They are a specialty item company that doesn’t need to play the consumer marketing game. Of course could be wrong as this is simply one customers theory.
