So I am currently in a country on the other side of the world to my home country.

I currently have gigabit broadband speeds on my local network. When I connect to a ShadowSocket VPN at my home country the bandwidth only halves to about 450mbps.

But then when I connect to my corporate VPN on my work laptop through the travel router. My speed goes to about 5mbps, they use the openvpn protocol.

Is there anything I can do about this? The corporate VPN has routing so many domains like Microsoft etc don’t go through the corporate vpn. But this bottleneck seems insanely slow from 450mbps to 5mbps lol. Any ideas are welcome :-)
