We’re looking to use a VPN to secure our remote users. Specifically, while they are away from their home/trusted connection.
Is there a way to configure the VPN to always connect EXCEPT when connected to a specific network? An example of the use case is that I’m at home 99% of the time. We’d like to avoid having to route my traffic thru the VPN unless I’ve left home. There is a cost concern with the data ingress/egress, capacity requirements, and speed.
I’ve started by looking at Pritunl and have configured an instance of it. All is well, but I don’t see anything in it specifically that would allow any policy to be enforced to require the user to not connect while at home. I don’t know if there is a VPN Client out there that would have something that would allow us to do this?
