… To all 12 people in their fiber service area.
And the telecoms will spend billions of dollars lobbying to make sure that those 12 people don’t get Google’s service.
Unless something changed recently, it sucks that Google isn’t rolling out coverage anymore. I’d use a VPN 24/7 if I had Google as an ISP, but damn my Internet would be fast.
Well, your internet would only be as fast your VPN’s server, wouldn’t it?
Yep, but the VPN is there to stop Google from slurping up info.
Sure but what’s the point of getting this fast internet if you’re not going to use the speed then?
I wish I could get something other than Comcast, but they are the only high speed service in my area
Same. Comcast has been annoying.
I am stuck with satellite access only, DSL is not even available. Sure would be nice if it felt like 2023 around here
My in laws were like that until AT&T came to their area. They switched to a cradle point when that happened.
Yes because residential customers all have 20gig switches and fiber backbones in their homes. I consider myself a home laber but I don’t have anything faster than 2.5gig in my home network. I can’t afford even the 10gig equipment.
