LGBTQ movement in Palestine and discuss the necessity of connecting the struggles for Palestinian freedom with the struggle against homophobia.
@jiujensu I’m gay and I’ll be getting a copy of this book soon. I’ve been openly gave since 1980, so quite awhile, and honestly I can say that there exists no real justification for homophobia, anywhere. I know for a fact that homosexuality is as normal and natural as any other human sexuality. Moreso, in some ways. And that there is nothing anyone can say to change that or to defend their inane bigtory and homophobia. Nothing at all. Keep up the good work, and fighting the good fight!

@tygerprints @bookstodon @jiujensu Thanks for sharing! Glad you’re out, proud, and safe I assume! You’ve been out 10 yrs longer than me.
@QueerInTheCountry You’re welcome, thanks for posting about this info. Yes I’ve been out awhile, and I’m safe and happy - I never have looked at my gayness as anything but a huge blessing, and I think people see how it radiates a sense of strength in me. That’s not a shield, but it does make my feel able to defend myself and look after myself. I hope you are doing as well yourself!
