In our latest documentary, From Cuba to Calabria, we follow Cuban doctors as they travel from the island to work in public hospitals in one of Italy’s poorest regions. The film offers a rare inside look at a Cuban medical mission, letting the doctors speak for themselves about why they volunteer to leave their families and travel thousands of miles to care for patients in another country.

The US is threatening Cuba, not the other way around. The US has used its economic power to punish the Cuban people. The Cuban people have done nothing to deserve this.
The US finally normalized relations with Cuba under Obama. It was finally an end to the madness, but the cruelty of the conservatives knows no bounds and Trump undid the normalization and started economically attacking Cuba again.
This is a contrived issue to support a minority population of Cuban hardliners that just need to die off or go the fuck away. These people are so poisoned that they would see every single Cuban person starve to death before they would admit they are wrong. They are the fucking problem, not the Cuban people.
“National Security” is what they tell you if they don’t actually have a reason but still want to do something.
The regular excuse of any agressor.
