Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says Labor has shelved plans to pass its contentious nature positive environmental laws before the election.
The decision comes after fierce resistance from West Australian Premier Roger Cook and sections of the mining industry.

Yet another example that we live in corporate dictatorships masquerading as “democracy”.
Sure, you can vote for whoever you want, but a statistical majority of names on the ballot at the state and federal level are groomed, financed and pre-approved by the wealthiest oligarchs and corporations.
May be we should stop voting for “big” parties. If we have a diversity in parament, it will me much harder to buy them all (or may be simpler)
